Ok, so ive destroyed one of my headlights by peeling the silicone and prising off the lense. It was going well until I got to the bottom.

Anyway, im going to use the broken light to pracice on.
Ive seen most posts talk about cutting them open but none off them say where to cut.
If anyone has done this can you post a picture or video to give me an idea.

Really looking forward to painting them black and having the badgeless grille on the car.

I think most posts on here will be about cutting Mk2 headlights open.

I posted a link in the other thread you made that mentioned using a heat gun to pull them apart. Did you try that?

Yes. It didnt go well. The silicone peeled away great to start with, but as I got the bottom it just wouldnt budge. So id like to try cutting it.with a dremel
